What We Build
The Pool Boy builds pools.
Swimming pool construction across Sarasota & Manatee Counties, FL — designed and built by Steve Lagasse, with more than 20 years of hands-on pool-building experience.
New Pool Construction
The core of what The Pool Boy does — building new swimming pools from excavation to final fill, with 20+ years of hands-on experience behind every one.
Custom Pool Design
Steve designs your pool around your yard, your budget and how you'll actually use it — geometric, freeform, sun shelves, whatever fits your Florida home.
Spas & Water Features
Attached spas with spillovers, rock waterfalls, sheer descents and bubblers — the details that turn a pool into a backyard retreat.
Pool Renovation & Remodel
Update an older pool — new finish, tile, coping, equipment and modern features — to bring it back to life and add value to your property.
Outdoor Living Spaces
Pool decks, fire features, covered patios and lounging areas designed as one cohesive space with your pool.
Consultation Through Construction
Steve guides you from the first conversation through the build — one experienced local professional the whole way.
Built the right way, step by step.
- 1Design & consultation — talk with Steve, walk the property, define the pool.
- 2Excavation & layout — dig the pool to the designed shape and depth.
- 3Steel & plumbing — rebar grid, skimmers, returns and main drains.
- 4Shotcrete shell — the concrete body of the pool, sprayed and shaped.
- 5Tile, coping & deck — the finished edge and surrounding surface.
- 6Interior finish, fill & startup — final coat, water and a walkthrough.
